After a bit of a struggle the rigs worked perfectly. A code plug with mainly Northern frequencies and Simplex channels was downloaded. The Handhelds are of sturdy construction and the audio output is of excellent quality. Straight out of the box, it was possible to use the rig as the battery had a good charge.
